Welcome Paul Getzel, Jennifer Wagner and Jun Chung
Healthy Gen welcomes Paul Getzel as executive director, Jennifer Wagner as marketing and communications manager, and Jun Chung as staff accountant.
Prior to joining Healthy Gen, Paul served as deputy executive director at Lifelong, a Seattle-based nonprofit community health organization committed to empowering people living with or at risk of HIV and/or other chronic conditions to lead healthier lives.
Paul also worked as the department director of Lifelong’s Chicken Soup Brigade, a program aimed at improving the nutritional health of individuals living with chronic conditions and hunger. There, Paul led and grew the comprehensive food and nutrition program that fed and nourished 1,977 people in 2016 with medically appropriate food. He was also involved in political advocacy and resource development for community health and nutrition at local, state and national levels.
Jennifer Wagner recently returned to the Pacific Northwest after spending several years in Phoenix, Ariz. She began her career in digital marketing and moved to public relations where she handled a variety of clients including the Arizona Coyotes professional hockey team and The Capital Grille. Jennifer led global marketing efforts for GuitarMania, Arizona’s largest public art project and spent the latter part of her career transforming the marketing departments of some of Arizona’s largest non-profit organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona and Fresh Start Women’s Foundation.
Jun Chung joins Health Gen from Pacific Financial Group in Bellevue where he served as an operations analyst. He is a certified public accountant with seven years experience in Washington and California.
